The INC, offers academic support and the placement assistance to the students interested in pursuing the PG Diploma Program in Banking, Finance and Insurance of the ICFAI University.

Duration: 9 Months

Eligibility

Graduates (any discipline) and students pursuing final year of bachelor's degree.

Award

Successful students of The BFI Program will receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking, Finance and Insurance from the ICFAI University on submitting proof of their having completed their bachelor's degree program.

The students of BFI Program will be encouraged to pursue various certification programs like IRDA Certification for Life and General Insurance, AMFI Certification for Mutual Funds and NCFM Certification for Financial Markets.

The BFI Program integrates the curricula of these certification programs in the respective subjects covered in Term I and Term II. These tests are available online and are administered by respective agencies like IRDA, AMFI and NCFM.

Scholarship for the MBA Program

INC offers academic support and placement assistance to students who wish to pursue the MBA progran of the ICFAI University as private candidates.

Successful students of the BFI Program will be awarded a scolarship of 50% of the Tuition fee of the BFI Program, if they wish to pursue and get qualified for admission into the MBA Program.

Student Handbook

Each student will be supplied with a Student Handbook which contains all the rules and regulations of the BFI Program, including detailed curriculum, academic calendar, course schedule, internships, examinations, grading, placements, etc.

The BFI Program is a nine month program, divided into three terms. Each term is of 3 months duration.

  • Essentials of Financial Management

  • Soft Skills I

  • Banking

  • Life Insurance

  • Financial Markets

  • Mutual Funds

  • Marketing of Financial Services

  • Wealth Management

  • Soft Skills II

  • IT Applications

  • Elective I

  • Elective II

  • Elective III

Term - III

3 months Internship at Banking, Finance and Insurance organizations 
leading to a project report.

This program structure is tentative, subject to change.
